I often wonder how single parents are faring in these touch economic times. It must be pretty hard especially if the parent is unemployed. Christmas is around the corner and there are presents to be bought. My son brought home a paper from school on which was written a gift that he is meant to buy for a less fortunate child. On it was written "gift for a 14yr old:Skateboard". In order to teach my son that it is better to give than to receive, I will buy that skateboard . Single parents, please share your stories of trials during this season and beyond.
